Ellita (Ell) and Jalisa met in their first year of university when they showed up at their dorm room and found out they would be sharing a room for the next 8 months! They could often be found in their room eating Domino's pizza and watching Netflix. Although they have never lived in the same city again since then, they have maintained a strong friendship and visit each other when they can.

Arizah is Jalisa's older (and only) sister and has been there for all of Jalisa's major life events! They support each other through their individual strengths, such as Jalisa being the academic advisor for grad school applications and Arizah being the design and decor consultant. You might find them at a dance class together or at their many family gatherings.

Lauren and Jalisa went to school together for 14 years, from Kindergarten through to first year university! They have fond memories of going trick or treating together in elementary school, and putting a dance together for their talent show in Grade 4. When they can't connect in person, they like to connect by studying, working, and doing chores together on video chats for hours.

Jalisa met Emily in Grade 6, when they were put in the same competition dance group. During their breaks in between dance classes, they would pop over to Safeway to fuel themselves with chocolate cake and mini eggs! They quickly grew a close and long-lasting friendship, attending each other's high school graduations, and staying in touch throughout all of life's transitions.

Sadiq and Jalisa met at jamatkhana and have known each other for over 15 years. They remember going for walks and bike rides to Granville Island and Kits Beach in high school. They grew a lot closer in the past few years, always being only a phone call away. He was the first person she called after her initial dates with Imran.
